Brazil -South Sudan Education Opportunity

The idea for Hayek Global College to offer educational opportunities to South Sudanese students first emerged in 2023, when its founder, Mr. Edson, met with Mr. John Mustapha, founder of the Organization for Liberty and Entrepreneurship (OLENT). The two connected in Brazil during the Hayek Global Summit 2023, where they discussed the possibility of extending Hayek’s programs to South Sudan.

At the time, the vision was only a dream. Hayek Global Campus was still under construction, and the undergraduate program was only a concept.

Two years later, that dream became reality. Hayek Global College launched its undergraduate program and began recruiting students. Staying true to its promise, the college partnered with OLENT to offer a scholarship to a South Sudanese student to study Human Resource Technology.

OLENT advertised the scholarship, conducted a rigorous interview process, and selected Lydia as the successful candidate from a shortlist of seven applicants.

OLENT expresses its gratitude to the leadership of Hayek Global College for this partnership, which strengthens access to higher education in South Sudan—a country where the education system continues to face significant challenges.
